During the visit, Minister Tanaskovic met Deputy Minister of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China Wang Lingjun, with whom she signed protocols on the export of honey and pet food from Serbia to the Chinese market.

 

On the same day, the Minister, speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the Sixth China-CEEC Dialogue on Customs, Inspection and Quarantine, highlightied the importance of the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism and called for the improvement of institutional cooperation between Serbia and China and harmonization of the veterinary sanitary and phytosanitary conditions, with the aim of increasing the volume of trade. She also added that she expects the signing of a Free Trade Agreement with the People's Republic of China as soon as possible, which will significantly contribute to the further development of Serbia-China trade and overall bilateral relations.
