On March 15th 2020. Government of the Republic of Serbia 2020. has brought new methods in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. According to new methods it is allowed for some categories of foreigners to enter to the Republic of Serbia under special conditions:
- For persons for whom special working committee of the Government of the Republic of Serbia granted permission to enter, stay or transit throught the territory of the Republic of Serbia;
This working committee is consisting of the representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
This Working committee will determine the conditions and limitations of the transit and/or residence of persons granted permission to enter the Republic of Serbia;
- For humanitarian convoys under a mandatory escort, for which entering has been approved by diplomatic way;
-Accredited members of the foreign Diplomatic and Consular Missions, as well as Offices of International Organizations and members of their families who are holders of specific ID cards, i.e. identification documents issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the General Secretariat of the Government;
- For foreigners to whom are approved temporary of residence or stay permit in the Republic of Serbia;
-Foreign citizens who are coming from countries, i.e. areas with intensive transmission of COVID-19, such as: Swiss Confederation, Republic of Italy, Islamic Republic of Iran, Romania, Kingdom of Spain, Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Republic of Austria, Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Greece, are obliged to be in isolation for 28 days;
- Persons who are coming from other countries, it is requested to stay under health supervision for 14 days (insulation in home conditions, i.e. self-isolation).
