Starting from March 15th 2020  it is declared state of emergency in the Republic of Serbia to implement preventive measures against the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to this situation at the border crossings will be organized unites of Border Police of the Republic of Serbia, Sanitation services, and Army of the Republic of Serbia.
Entry to the Republic of Serbia is allowed only  for citizens of the Republic of Serbia, returning from abroad, diplomats and foreign nationals with residence permits of the Republic of Serbia.
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia, who are coming from abroad to the Republic of Serbia, are obliged to implement self-isolation measures for 14 days, and those who come from focal point of epidemic ispolation should be  for 28 days. The police, army and local comunities will control whether the rules are respected. For those who are not respect the rules will be given sentances of up to three years in prison.
