In an interview with CRI, ambassador Bacevic has stated that China has taken all necessary measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic in a very short time. China has thus showed to the world a high level of social organization, patriotism of its people and confidence in the leadership, efforts of medical workers as well as research and development, health care institutions that are able to fight for the country together.

Many countries have assisted China in its effort to prevent and control the epidemic, regardless of their capacities, thus expressing compassion for China in these difficult times. „Serbia is a small country, but at the moment it is providing maximum support to China, not only verbally but also in terms of providing humanitarian aid, as much as it can“

The ambassador has also noted that since the outbreak of the epidemic, some countries have adopted biased reports that have led to widespread panic and discrimination against Chinese citizens abroad. Stating that the epidemic is a sudden occurrence that no country is immune to the spread of the new virus, the ambassador said the Chinese leadership attaches great importance to the health situation in the country and beyond. Chinese authorities also show equal care for foreign nationals in China who enjoy the same level of protection as Chinese people.
