(Beijing, 19 July 2012) Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the elected President of the 67th Session of the UN General Assembly V. Jeremić visited People's Republic of China at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Yang Jiechi, 16-18 July 2012. Members of delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia were State Secretary I. Mrkić, Deputy Minister for Bilateral Cooperation Z. Ponoš and advisor in the Office of the Minister D. Krnjević Misković. In addition to talking with the host, Minister Yang Jiechi, with whom the Minister V. Jeremić exchanged views on the UN's work, as well as on a number of issues of international concern, V. Jeremic and delegation were also received by the vice president of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. Two sides exchanged views on the state and prospects of bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and People’s Republic of China.
